Alfred Ayache has been a valuable member of the Digital Development Team at the Toronto Star for over a year. He was originally hired to manage the repatriation and ongoing maintenance of an important codebase from a hostile vendor, tasks he handled with skill and professionalism.

While a member of the team at the Toronto Star, Alfred also contributed his extensive experience and knowledge of the industry to a variety of projects he was not directly involved in, assisting in achieving their ultimate success. He worked with others to provide innovative solutions and mentor other teammates. He also took ownership of our Lunch and Learn program, organizing and managing the schedule and topics highlighted by the program.

Outside of work, Alfred is actively involved in the web and open source communities in and around Toronto. He is cheerful and personable, a pleasure to work with, and a consummate professional. He is an asset to any team.
